High Five For Friday

  1. My fun nails! Essie's Chrome polish and Avon's Mosaic Top Coat in Black
  2. Keith's awesome find - can you believe someone was throwing this out? It will soon be our new entertainment center.
  3.  Sharing a picture and laughing with my sister (We loved Pitch Perfect)
  4.  A dunkaccino from DD (a yummy blend of hot chocolate and coffee, perfect for this cold Chicago morning)
  5.  A new board game for the kids. I picked this up at the twins' club resale over the weekend.
    The kids loved it! Gave up something to do in the evenings since due to the time change, we are having some trouble putting them to bed.

Love, love, love the nails. (Still waiting for a care package with mine). Ethan's also a HUGE fan of chutes and ladders. Two years ago, Grandpa gave him a 3-D one. It's unreal!

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

The countdown to Hallowe'en begins! Please note this is not the actual number of days until Hallowe'en. The picture was taken two days ago. The house is totally decorated, although I still could use a few more things ;) One of the cool new decorations I bought this year are these Halloween Pumpkin Wall Decals from Kohls.  I love them!  My structured, OCD self feels the mantle is too cluttered, but the spooky side of me just doesn't care. ;) How do you decorate for Hallowe'en?

A Spooky Celebration

Far off in a field, in central Illinois, there lies a patch of pumpkins of the magical kind.    No one knows where they come from; they appear every October, yet no one ever plants a seed.
